The case studies database

By SDRN on 2nd January 2013

This aim of this database of case studies is to collate evidence on real world examples of innovative sustainable development-related initiatives, be they research, community or business-led and promote awareness and understanding of these amongst policy-makers, researchers and practitioners.

Each case study seeks to convey the aims, background and nature of the initiative, the activities under way, and (if information is available) key challenges and critical success factors identified by those engaged in the initiative.

We are interested in a diverse range of case studies including, for example, those related to government priorities in the areas of the green economy, community renewable energy, sustainable local transport, local food production, environmental restoration and volunteering, waste prevention, wellbeing and equality, environmental education initiatives, and responsible business practice and social enterprise (ensuring relevance to multiple government departments).

Do contact us if you know of, or are working on, an initiative which you would like to add to the database.
