The Conference took place on Thursday 9th December 2010 at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, London.
The aim of the conference was to explore the implications of recent changes within government for the development and delivery of sustainable development, and what this means for the research community’s activities and priorities.
Presentations from the recent TRL Workshop 'The Impact of Non-transport Policies on Transport' are now available to download. The workshop was well-received by all delegates and speakers, and highlighted some interesting research and policy challenges to be addressed and explored further. The key findings will be outlined in the workshop report, to be published in the new year.
‘Sustainable development: new issues, new challenges
The 2008 Annual SDRN Conference took place on Thursday 11th September at the RSA, London. Many thanks to all the SDRN members that helped to make this year's SDRN Annual Conference another great success. Over 150 SDRN members attended the event to listen to a host of speakers discussing sustainable development research and policy.
For many years, the SDRN Annual Sustainable Development Research Conference has remained one of the highlights of the Sustainable Development Research Network calendar. Drawing together an exciting mix of academics, policy-makers and other representatives from business, NGOs and the research community, the 2008 Conference will provide an opportunity for the presentation and discussion of new, cutting-edge sustainable development research and policy issues.
