The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries is inviting proposals for a project on modelling pension funds under climate change. The project will develop quantitative illustrations of the impact on UK pension scheme assets and liabilities of a small number of climate change scenarios. The aim is to help pensions actuaries assess the potential magnitude of climate change impacts and hence when climate change might be relevant to the funding advice they give. The closing date is 12 May 2017.

IPBES will be seeking expert reviewers for the Second Order Drafts of the thematic assessment on Land Degradation and Restoration, and the four regional assessments on biodiversity and ecosystem services: Africa; Americas; Asia Pacific; and, Europe and Central Asia. The consultation period runs from 1 May - 26 June 2017 (29 May - 24 July for the Americas assessment).
