The 2009 Annual SDRN Conference took place on Thursday 24th September at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, London. Many thanks to all the speakers and SDRN members that helped to make this year's SDRN Annual Conference another great success. Over 150 SDRN members attended the event to listen to a host of speakers discussing sustainable development research and policy.

The conference is the Network’s annual forum for the dissemination and discussion of the new and emerging issues prevalent within sustainable development research and policy-making. Bringing together representatives from research, academia, policy and the business and NGO sectors, the event provides a unique networking opportunity for SDRN members.

A final SDRN Conference Agenda and a full programme from the event are available to download, and a selection of presentations from the day is also online.

The Conference once again featured the ESRC/NERC Young Researchers' Poster Session, aimed at showcasing the work of early career sustainable development researchers. This year’s competition was themed ‘Living with Environmental Change’ to mark the launch of the landmark, multidisciplinary ‘Living with Environmental Change’ (LWEC) research programme. More…
