Priorities for the new energy strategy in Scotland: innovation, investment and decarbonisation

By Robert Lyons on 11th April 2017
Date and Time:
Wednesday, June 14, 2017 - 08:30 to 13:00

Sessions in this seminar assess the future role of renewables - as well as wider low-carbon energies - and oil and gas, considering generation at a local level and opportunities for innovation - taking into account views within the energy sector and the importance of consumer engagement in developing a more modern energy mix. Delegates will also consider the way forward for the decarbonisation of heat and transport, reducing consumption of electricity, heat and energy-intensive transport, and developing a smarter, flexible electricity network.
