Affordable warmth & health impact evaluation toolkit

By Editor on 20th April 2016

The Centre for Sustainable Energy’s research team, in partnership with the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), have devised a toolkit to help local organisations assess what difference their fuel poverty schemes make to the health and wellbeing of target users.

The toolkit provides guidance on how to plan and undertake an impact evaluation and gives advice on such issues as deciding whether or not to conduct a health and wellbeing impact evaluation; involving the health sector; making choices about type of evaluation design; what data will be needed to collect for a health and wellbeing impact evaluation; using ready-made health questionnaires; analysing data; thinking about ethics, consent and data management; and reporting with impact.
